God And Your Work (3)

“I have chosen Bezalel.” Exodus 31:2    The first person in the Bible who was said to be “filled with the Spirit of God” was Bezalel. And if his name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s because he wasn’t a prophet, priest, king, or apostle. He was a craftsman, skilled in design. He had an eye for color and a flair for management, and when it came time for building the tabernacle, he oversaw the job. Here is what God said about him: “I have chosen Bezalel…and…filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts” (Exodus 31:2-5 ). Imagine being Bezalel. From your youth you loved to work with your hands. You don’t know God is involved in this—but He is! He actually placed these desires within you. When you’re working, the joy you feel is actually the presence of God. You have certain strength

Secret of Spiritual Power.

Image
Christians talk a lot about “ God’s power ,” but sadly there are many who have no understanding of how to tap into this amazing resource. However, a Christian who spends time in prayer and Bible study knows that the real secret of " spiritual power " is "time spent alone with God! When you are on your knees pouring out your heartaches and deepest desires, you are drawn into a "oneness" with Him. Being alone with God is an awesome privilege that is available to everyone. And prayer is not just to tell God your problems. Prayer provides an opportunity to really get to know “who” God is and to feel His presence. It’s also a time to praise Him and thank Him for His many blessings. God loves to hear from His children, and the good news . . . prayer is available to everyone! It’s not just for those who can afford a club membership to the throne room of God! His door is always open, any time of the day or night! He wants us to depend solely on Him! Start t

Many of my friends have broken marriages. How can I prevent divorce?

My fiancé and I are getting married in a couple of months, and we're really looking forward to our lives together. But so many of our friends have already been through at least one divorce, and we don't want that to happen to us. How can we prevent it? The most important thing you can do is to build your marriage on God and His will for your lives. As my wife used to say, a strong marriage actually needs to include three people: the husband, the wife—and God. Begin your life together, therefore, by committing your lives and your marriage to Jesus Christ. Remember: marriage isn’t just a social convenience or a legal custom. Marriage comes from God, and it is one of His greatest gifts to us. When times of stress or disappointment come (and they will), remember that God brought you together, and you made your marriage vows not only to each other but also to Him. Never forget Jesus’ words: “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate” (Mark 10:9). In add

Billy Graham Answers on Abortion(Bible according) part-4...?

Image
Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Psalm 100:3 (ESV) With varying abortion laws throughout our country, it’s important to note what the Bible says about the issue. Throughout God’s Word, it’s clear that human life is precious to Him. More than ever, we need Biblical answers to questions regarding abortion and the sanctity of life. Billy Graham once said, “I know it’s common today to think of abortion as a simple answer to an inconvenient problem—but it is actually a far more serious issue. Your child isn’t simply a mass of tissue; he or she is a human being in God’s eyes.” Here are a few My Answers from the evangelist. * ( Q: I got an abortion. I can’t forgive myself, and I know God won’t forgive me either. A: You are wrong when you say God can never forgive you.) * Q: My ex-boyfriend talked me into getting an abortion several years ago, and I can't get it out of my mind. I knew it was wr
