Who am I in Christ?

Image
According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!" There are two Greek words that are translated as "new" in the Bible. The first, neos, refers to something that has been created, but many things like it already exist. The word translated "new" in this verse is the Greek word kainos, which means "something made that is unlike anything that existed before." In Christ, we are made a completely new creation, just as God originally created heaven and earth—He created them out of nothing, and He does the same with us. He not only cleanses us from Himself, but He makes us completely new. When we are in Christ, we are “increasingly made partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4 Hindi BSI Bible). God Himself, in the person of the Holy Spirit, makes His home in our hearts. We are in Christ and He is in us. In Christ, we are renewed, rege

His love gives us Victory

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37 Without a doubt, there have been times when you faced difficult moments in your life, and it is during these times that you discovered who truly loves you. These are the times when our enemies openly rise against us, and Evil people wish for our complete destruction. When you go through challenges, that’s when people reveal their true feelings and those who have longed to see you fall use the opportunity to speak against you. David said in Psalm 41:5, "My enemies say of me in malice, 'When will he die and his name perish?'" In all these hardships, it is only because of God's love for you that you made it through.  Sometimes, when you reflect on your life, you realize that it was only God who helped you. And how merciful God is during these times—it’s not even that you were perfect. Perhaps you didn't even know God, but He helped you. Maybe you survived not bec

Becouse of Jesus

“I deserve the wrath of God. I am a sinner. I deserve judgment and hell. But I’m not going to spend one day in hell. Not because I have preached to people or because I’ve read the Bible or because I go to church.”  Becouse of  The Bible says, "(Jesus)He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his(Jesus)own mercy" (Titus 3:5).

What is the living hope in 1 Peter 1:3?

Image
First Peter 1:3 says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." The Apostle Peter begins his letter with words of praise for God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, reminding readers that salvation is a gift of God's mercy. Peter then said that believers are given "a living hope, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." What does Peter really mean when he speaks of a “living hope”? Peter says it is the "new birth" that provides our living hope, affirming that salvation is a gift from God. Just as a baby doesn't have to do anything to be born, we experience the new birth not because of who we are or anything we have done. We are born of God through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead (John 1:13). Salvation brings about a transformation of who we are (2 Corinthians 5

Stay away from the ways of the wicked.

Image
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and walk not in the way of evil. Proverbs 4:14 In this world of cultural confusion, many things seem right to people but are truly wicked practices, which are displeasing to God. It is easy for those who know God to stray from the path of righteousness and turn to the ways of the wicked, due to temptations and the seductions of the enemy. Many have failed to stay on the path of righteousness because the Word of God says in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. But the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." To continue walking on God’s path, you need patience, obedience, and dedication to God, as this world is full of temptations with the intent to sway you. But if you have a personal desire to live a holy life, you will endure and stay on the path of righteousness. The W

What are the last seven words of Jesus spoken on the cross and what do they mean?

Image
Here below are seven sayings that Jesus Christ spoke from the cross (in no particular order): (1) Matthew 27:46 tells us about the ninth hour when Jesus cried out with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" Which means, “My God, why have you forsaken me?” Here, Jesus was expressing his feeling of abandonment when God placed the sins of the world upon him—and because of this God had to “turn away” from Jesus. When Jesus felt the weight of sin, it was the only time since eternity that He had experienced separation from God. It was also the fulfillment of the prophesied statement of Psalm 22:1. (2) “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:46). Those who crucified Jesus did not know, with full certainty, what they were doing, because they did not recognize Him as the Christ. Their ignorance of divine truth does not mean that they deserved forgiveness, and Christ's prayer in the midst of their mockery is an expression of the infinite mercy of divi

Be still and trust God

"For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” But you would not," Isa 30:15 SUV  In this world, which is characterized by chaos, conflict, and uncertainty, the concept of strength is often associated with power, might, and military prowess. However, the scriptures offer a different perspective on where true strength is found. It is not in human strategies or military power but rather in quietness and trust in God. The word of God today delivers a powerful message emphasizing that our salvation and strength lie not in our own abilities or alliances but in quietness and trust in our God. This verse encapsulates a profound truth that resonates throughout the Bible: God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and true power is found in surrendering to His will. Quietness, as described in this verse, goes beyond mere silence. It suggests a state of inner peac
